BARBET'S BURROW

INFORMATION: Barbet’s Burrow can seat 50-60 guests.

LOCATION: This venue is outside and is semi-private.

WEATHER: Patio heaters are available on request and subject to availability at R50 per heater.

THEME: It has wooden cladding on one of the sides. The other side has windows to let in natural light and fresh air. The ceiling has wooden beams should you wish to add your own hanging decor. It has beautiful potted plants on two of the four sides.

VENUE HIRE for daytime functions for a maximum of 4-hours between 08:00 and 16:00 included. Functions must please be concluded by 14:00 on days when we host weddings (mostly Saturdays). You are welcome to setup any décor 1-hour before the pre-arranged starting time of your function. Additional hours or part thereof will be charged at R500 or part thereof (subject to availability).

The venue hire include basic setup, security and parking attendants, cutlery & crockery, wooden chairs, rectangular plastic tables covered with white or cream tablecloths and matching napkins, gifts tables, table runner of your choice, hostess and serving staff. All venues are equipped with a generator that starts up automatically within 20 seconds in event of a general power failure.  We also supply heaters in Winter upon request.

 

LOERIE'S LAIR

INFORMATION: Loerie’s Lair can seat up to 24 guests.

LOCATION:  This venue is outside and is semi-private.

WEATHER: Patio heaters are available on request and subject to availability at R50 per heater.

THEME: Two of the sides have painted murals of geometric lines in greens and greys. The ceiling has wooden beams should you wish to add your own hanging decor.

VENUE HIRE for daytime functions is included for a maximum of 4-hours between 08:00 and 16:00. Functions must please be concluded by 14:00 on days when we host weddings (mostly Saturdays). THE TERRACE

INFORMATION:  Ideal for groups of 8 or less.

LOCATION: Your table will be set-up in the garden and umbrellas are used for shade.

WEATHER:  In the event of rain or unpleasant wind, we can easily move your table into the coffee shop or available outside area.

THEME: Nature! The grass terrace is surrounded by trees, holy bamboo and beautiful sage.

THE CONFERENCE ROOM

INFORMATION: The conference room can seat up to 40 guests, depending on setup style.

LOCATION: This venue is located inside, above the coffee shop. A flight of 18 stairs will get you there. It works perfectly for cold days. It is our most private venue.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED: This venue is fitted with an air conditioning unit for your comfort.

THEME: The conference room is home to some of our decor and the walls are covered in art by the original farmer. It has wooden boards along the sides should you wish to add your own decor.

PLOVER'S PLACE

INFORMATION: Plover’s Place can seat up to 35 guests.

LOCATION: This venue is outside and is semi-private. It is the closest venue to the children’s play area.

WEATHER: Patio heaters are available on request and subject to availability at R50 per heater.

THEME: It has wooden cladded wall with planter boxes and succulents on the western side as well as a ceiling with wooden beams for  you to add additional hanging decor. It also has a semi-private garden area at the back perfect for enjoying a picnic or planned activities for your kitchen tea or baby shower.

VENUE HIRE for daytime functions is included for a maximum of 4-hours between 08:00 and 16:00. Functions must please be concluded by 14:00 on days when we host weddings (mostly Saturdays). HOOPOO'S HIDE

INFORMATION: Hoopoo’s Hide can seat up to 35 guests.

LOCATION: This venue is outside and is semi-private. It is ideal for children’s parties as it has a large sandpit and is next to the playground (Please note the playground is available to all patrons so you would not have exclusive use of the play facilities.

WEATHER: Patio heaters are available on request and subject to availability at R50 per heater.

THEME: With a wooden cladding wall on the western side and ceiling with wooden beams for  you to add additional hanging decor. It also has a semi-private garden area at the back perfect for enjoying a picnic or planned activities for your kitchen tea or baby shower.

THE MAZE AND PAVILLION

INFORMATION:  The Pavillion can seat up to 35 guests at tables and 90 standing (ceremonies or cocktail events).

LOCATION: The Pavillion is in the centre of the Maze. This beautiful formal garden is our pride and joy.

WEATHER: Patio heaters are available on request and subject to availability at R50 per heater.

Please note that the only shade is provided by the Pavillion in the centre. The garden is in full sun.

THEME: The Maze is home to over 2000 plants, interesting twists, turns and pathways – this is a tranquil feast for the senses. The Pavillion is an open-sided structure which provides 360-degree views of the beautiful maze.

THE BARN

INFORMATION: This beautiful wooden structure was built in the late 80’s and is used today to host up to 250 guests standing, or it can seat up to 120 guests for a reception. The double -volume ceiling has naked hanging bulbs for atmosphere, and the pillars are adorned with fairy lights. It has 6 large windows that open on the sides to let in natural light, fresh air and sunset views. Venue hire subject to guest requirements.

LOCATION: The Barn is located next to the Bonfire Circle and the Maze.

WEATHER: Wood regulates temperature so the Barn’s temperature is mostly ambient. In the event of a chilly or windy day, the shutters and windows can be closed.

THEME: The classic shape of the building lends itself to a variety of themes – from bohemian to elegant and modern.

VENUE HIRE for daytime functions R5 500: Use of this venue is for a maximum of 4-hours between 08:00 and 16:00. Functions must please be concluded by 14:00 on days when we host weddings (mostly Saturdays). You are welcome to setup any décor 1-hour before the pre-arranged starting time of your function. Additional hours or part thereof will be charged at R650 or part thereof (subject to availability).

THE DISTILLERY

INFORMATION: This is our Essential Oil Distillation Plant! It is very spacious with high ceilings and can be used for events of up to 250 guests. It has an industrial feel with the main colours and textures being black, grey, metal and glass. . The Distillery is perfect for larger events and can seat up to 300 guests.

LOCATION: The Distillery is located 50m south of the Maze.

WEATHER: To ensure ambient temperatures and guests’ comfort, Evap Coolers are used in the Summer and Fire Places in Winter

THEME: Industrial

VENUE HIRE for daytime functions R9 500: Use of this venue is for a maximum of 4-hours between 08:00 and 16:00. Functions must please be concluded by 14:00 on days when we host weddings (mostly Saturdays). You are welcome to setup any décor 1-hour before the pre-arranged starting time of your function. Additional hours or part thereof will be charged at R1000 or part thereof (subject to availability).
