Tea is my passion. As a young girl (and being truly South African of course), I grew up thinking there is only one type of tea (Rooibos) and that it cures absolutely everything and anything! Since then I have discovered the wonderful varieties and accompanying ceremonies and rituals of tea. In May 2008 I was in the very fortunate position to attend the World Tea Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas. I tasted the World's finest teas and met the most interesting people - totally devoted to the tea-lifestyle, where having tea provides time for reflection, quiet conversation and celebrating life! I want to share this enthusiasm with all my friends and family and of course my patrons. I have a lot of books about the traditions and etiquette surrounding tea which is fascinating!
