Our charming thatch cottage is free-standing and surrounded by beautiful trees, abundant birdlife, and breathtaking sunset views. It is only a one minute walk from the coffee shop.
The room has a king-size sleigh bed with an electric blanket, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a free-standing bath. Amenities include Rosemary Hill body wash, soap, shampoo, lotion, insect repellent and room spray, as well as tissues and towels. It also boasts a spacious separate lounge with tea and coffee making facilities, fruit bowl, biscuits and rusks, DSTV, hairdryer, heaters and a fan.
Guests staying over on the farm can enjoy a complimentary breakfast from 07h30 – 09h30. Upon check-in, your Accommodation Manager will communicate the specific venue to you (which is subject to availability). The Breakfast is served from 07h30 – 09h30 to allow you to return to your room to pack up and check out by 10am. Please remember to bring along your voucher that is placed in your room.

ACROBRANCH We are pleased to announce that Acrobranch has launched a new adventure park on our premises. We have also opened a pop-up coffee shop, the Greenhouse Café, adjacent to the Acrobranch site to complement the exciting activities provided by Acrobranch. ANIMALS Although this is not a Big 5 country, you are visiting us on a farm and you might come across wild rabbits, donkeys, horses, goats, sheep, guinea fowls and a herd of Nguni cattle.
COFFEE SHOP Breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed on the patio in the Summer or inside next to the warm fireplace in Winter. No reservation required, service is on a first come first serve basis. Trading hours: Wednesdays to Thursdays from 08:00 to 15:00 (limited menu) and Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from 07:00 to 15:00 (full menu). On Mondays and Tuesdays a lovely continental breakfast will be delivered for you to enjoy in your room or as a picnic on the farm.
FARM SHOP We launched our very own range of hand wash, body wash, hand & body lotion, fragrant soaps, shampoo, conditioner, linen mist, insect repellent and room spray – all manufactured with essential oils distilled right here on the farm and available for purchase in the coffee shop. We also have homemade baked goods and sweet treats available like fudge, brownies, biscuits, rusks and fresh bread.
MAZE Take a stroll through our beautiful formal garden. Situated next to our wooden Barn, the Maze is 80m in diameter and is made up of over 2km of pathways and over 2000 trees, herbs and shrubs! Summer, Winter, Autumn or Spring – the Maze always looks beautiful! A lovely garden but also a venue for open-air concerts, weddings, christenings, art exhibitions etc.
THE WALDORF SCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN We share the farm with a private school and hostel on the premises, so you might hear children laughing and playing! Visit them at www.thewaldorfschool.co.za and www.thekindergarten.co.za.
TRAILS Enjoy an overdose of fresh air and country views! Rosemary Hill Farm trails provide a great day out for mountain bikers, trail runners and hikers. It takes you on a scenic route across the farm, with quite a few unique cycling obstacles and challenges. The trails meander through our working farm with bits of forest, dams and even some old ruins to explore. Our trails are all very well marked and beautifully maintained. Don’t forget to take along a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat! We have a selection of mountain bikes for toddlers to adults available for rent; rentals include a helmet. Maps are sold separately. Please enquire at the coffee shop
