We constantly strive to make changes and bring updates to the trails to ensure that even our regular visitors are pleasantly surprised from time to time. The guys are currently working on a fun flow section on the 33km route just before the Camber Bridge. This will be incorporated into a few other radical changes planned for the longer route. Watch this space!
Our 1km toddler trail, which meanders through a rosemary field is ideal for tiny MTB’ers who are just starting out. Aspiring future champions bring their own bikes, including those with training wheels, and enjoy the day in nature. Entrance is free for children up to six years old, and all children must be accompanied by a parent.

What happens when you get a few guys together who love riding their bikes? Lots of fun. And if you want to make a video clip it helps to know people who know people. So we asked Andre from Lynnwood Cyclery to ask a couple of former SA Champs to help out. The result was an awesome clip highlighting a few sections of our trail while giving Fritz Pienaar and Francois Theron loads of opportunities to pop wheelies!
Our previous trail builder, Vaughan Ross, spotted a few mounds in a piece of veld and asked if he could borrow some heavy equipment to do a bit more shaping.. and that is how this line was created. Not much elevation means you need to create your own speed, so come and give it a go. Andre, Fritz and Francois make it look so easy…
Rosemary Hill is not blessed with serious mountains, so we did our best to squeeze a really tight and challenging bit of proper mountain biking into this one hillside. From fast-flowing downhill berms to tight switchbacks and switchback climbs; guaranteed to get your heart pounding. Watch some seriously talented guys explain how to ride STOKEVILLE.
